Session panels

This conference is intended to serve as a forum for discussion and comparison of the steps taken and yet to be taken to bring the legal systems of the accession states into line with the criteria of EU membership, as well as to discuss cooperation between judicial and law enforcement authorities within the European area of freedom, security and justice in order to effectively and efficiently combat the pervasive problems of transnational crime, thereby forming a common platform of intentions and objectives to strengthen judicial cooperation and internal affairs in preparation for EU accession.

The conference agenda, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will be divided into an introductory plenary session and three sessions devoted to: 1. fight against transnational crimes, 2. police and judicial cooperation, 3. protection of fundamental rights.
